Mezco Toyz has long been associated with the world of urban vinyl toys, being one of the first American companies to produce them. Now, as they introduce their new line of Designer Vinyl toys, they return to the roots of the genre.
Mezco approached 60 world famous artits, designers, and FX artists and asked each of them to create a custom Mez-Itz. The response was a resounding YES!
Designs came from artists such as Angus Oblong of TV’s The Oblongs, Guy Davis of Hellboy fame, Tim Gore the award winning FX artist, NJ artist Carrie Conger, renaissance woman and rock star Kim Dylla, , Joe Dunn of ‘Joe Loves Crappy Movies’, Barry Anderson & John Graziano from ‘Ripley’s Believe It Or Not!,’ the always exciting Miss Monster and tons more. The list of participating artists reads like a "Who’s Who" of cool.
The figures are set to be displayed at booth 4145 at San Diego Comic Con from July 22-26 and will then be displayed in NY at a location that has yet to be revealed.
