From filmmakers Pixels Per Second comes this ghoulish mockumentary trailer which spreads the word on the life-saving (and in turn, life-threatening) capabilities of the social media sites.

Just under four minutes long, the gruesome tale of a zombie attack definitely throws some references to real life events and scandals involving the misuse and abuse of Twitter in times of crisis. It isn't always easy to differentiate between honest, helpful tweets, and misleading or completely false updates, as the video demonstrates.

'#Zombies: Followers of the Dead' is not only a clever parody vid, but also acts as a warning for gullible Twitter users. Lovers of classic undead flicks and social media junkies alike will lose their heads over this hilariously creepy clip.
