YummySnack bars were created by Lisa Goldbaum, a mother who wanted to feed her kids snacks that were actually good for them. As a concerned parent, she made it her mission to teach her children the value of nutritious whole foods that are low in sugar in starch, but found it challenging to come across delicious options in the grocery store. She remarks that many snacks are branded as healthy, but "When you look at the sugar content on a label, that number doesn’t include the starches that metabolize as sugar, so people are getting much more sugar than they bargained for."
YummyHealth's YummySnacks are made from natural ingredients like coconut, almond butter, cocoa and flax seeds. The snack bars are naturally sweetened with stevia leaf extract and erythritol, a sugar alcohol.
While the wholesome ingredient list might not mean much to young kids, what will appeal to them are flavors that taste like Brownies, Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter.
