Wondery, a popular podcast studio owned by Amazon, has announced the launch of Wondery+ Kids, an audio subscription service dedicated to kids and families. The new service arrives just one month after Amazon and Wondery struck an exclusive licensing deal with Tinkercast, another popular family-focused podcast platform.
The new offering will be sold separately from Wondery+ and will provide users with early access to a variety of Wondery and Tinkercast Originals. Some notable titles include 'Imagined Life Family,' 'Wow in the World,' 'Little Stories Everywhere,' and 'Flip and Mozi’s Guide to How to Be an Earthling.'
“There is a significant opportunity in the marketplace for high-quality kids podcasts from trusted creators,” Jen Sargent, the CEO of Wondery, said. “We’re excited to offer parents safe, screen-free, ad-free, entertaining and educational podcasts with our new Wondery+ Kids offering on Apple Podcasts.”
