Illustrator Andy Purviance decided to make posters that depict Wizard of Oz characters as characters in Game of Thrones. The popular HBO series has sparked a lot of inspiration in the world of design; many illustrators and graphic designers have infused a medieval aspect into their works.
In the posters, wizard Of Oz characters like Dorothy, Scarecrow, Lion, Tin Woodman and even Toto are imagined as belonging to Game Of Thrones houses. Andy Purviance made sure to include all of the nine houses in Game of Thrones and placed each of the characters under a house that he deemed most appropriate. Their newfound mottos are also listed underneath them; for example, Scarecrow, who belongs to House of Arryn, is now “High as a Kite.”

3. Alternative Imaginations of Fictional Characters - There is the opportunity for more illustrators to explore creative possibilities of alternate identities for characters of popular fictional works.
Industry Implications
