What About Mag #1 features a vampire-looking Lea T in its second issue. T rocks flowing mermaid tresses, inky lipstick and matching ebony nail polish.
In one shot, her lipstick is painted on to look as though it is leaking off her lips and dripping down her throat, while her fingers are painted the same shade. Because the photos are black and white, the overall effect is positively terrifying; it appears as though T has just gorged on the blood of her enemies, leaving a sticky mess behind. The other shots are more supernatural, with photographer Jacques Dequeker playing with the effects to make T look like a phantom, or similarly unearthly entity.
Despite the haunting vibe and T's cadaverous look, this What About Mag #1 editorial is surprisingly sexy.
