Weddingbells is setting itself apart within the magazine industry by introducing its Spring & Summer 2018 issue with a cover and editorial images that have been captured only using an iPhone 8 Plus.
While the bridal magazine's dynamic cover was lensed by fashion photographer Alvaro Goveia, the magazine also commissioned Toronto-based wedding photographer Barb Simkova to capture images of a real wedding using just a smartphone. As Alison McGill, Editor-in-Chief of Weddingbells sees it, "We’ve noticed more and more wedding photographers are mixing up the tools they use to capture impactful imagery. iPhones have become an essential tool many photographers use to provide a different perspective on their clients’ wedding day."
Inside the latest issue of the magazine, readers will also discover dresses from Canadian bridal fashion designers, cakes and a guide to pairing designer fragrances with wedding bouquets.
