Facebook's 'We Are Not Alone' video cleverly communicates that "whatever you're into, somewhere out there is a group for you."
The video goes about proving this message by showing various people dressed up as all sorts of extraterrestrial beings, like Elliott and ET, Ridley Scott's Alien and Spock. Initially, all of these characters are seen in their home environments doing fairly average tasks by themselves like waiting for the bus, feeding the dog or cleaning out the leaves from the pool.
All of the cosplayers come together for some sort of convention and the ad turns itself into snapshots on a Facebook group page. The video is simple in its execution and even though group pages have been around for a while, this video truly illustrates the sense of community that can come from them.
