Wanderland by Hermès is a vibrant new exhibition from the French fashion house that celebrates the Parisian concept of the flâneur. To be housed at Chelsea's Saatchi Gallery until May 2015, the Wanderland showcase offers patrons the chance to stroll through a visual, highly immersive historical depiction of the brand's history in relation to the flâneur concept.
The flâneur is a 19th century concept of a voyeuristic city dweller, an archetype for a city wanderer that has long served as inspiration for Hermès. The exhibit draws on inspiration from such artists as Magritte and Lichtenstein to create captivating and thoughtful mise-en-scènes throughout.
Following its stint in London, the Wanderland by Hermès exhibit will be traveling on to Paris and then Milan.
