Hermès has presented its new Home collection during this year's Milan Design Week. The luxury fashion house turned Milan's La Pelota into an immersive space where visitors fully embrace materiality and tactility.
The exhibit features a series of large-scale box-like structures visitors are welcomed to enter. The boxes are covered with rich textiles that create an eclectic feel. The collection demonstrates the 'know-how' - the line is all about understanding the creative and development process of working with textiles, leathers, metals, and stones.
The new collection is made of raw and natural materials and has a distinct linear and geometric aesthetic. Among the numerous new pieces is the Sillage d'Hermès - an oversized seat with rich cushioning and a wooden frame designed by Studio Mumbai for Hermès.
