At the Geneva International Motor Show, the Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion was shown off as a concept car of the future. The I.D. Vizzion is the fourth car from Volkswagen's I.D. line, which explores electric car technology. This model in particular is a standout because it is not only autonomous and electric, but also voice-controlled; Volkswagen imagines that passengers will be able to interact with the vehicle through a virtual assistant using voice- and gesture-based commands, a system that will become in tune with a person's individual preferences.
As an autonomous vehicle concept, the interior of the Volkswagen vehicle features no steering wheel or visible controls.
Volkswagen plans to introduce over 20 electric vehicles by 2025, with the production of its I.D. models beginning as of 2020.
