Natasha Poly is far from the typical pirate in the 'La Pirate' editorial featured in Vogue Paris' November 2014 issue.
Fashion editor Emmanuelle Alt lavished Poly with luxurious furs in all different colors, from an aggressive crimson number to a girly pink option. The hair stylist on the shoot, who goes by the single name Christiaan, gave Poly an over-the-top crimped hair 'do. In fact, her hair is about as large and as glamorous as the furs she wears on her body -- which is quite the feat.
Poly poses perched on top a rock, the water rippling behind her. Could she be shipwrecked? Is she waiting for someone to answer her SOS in the sand? We might never know, but at least she'll stay warm. The editorial was lensed by photographic duo Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
