French artist Vincent Leroy tests his new installation located on the iceberg lagoon of Fjallsárlón, Iceland. The artist has been exploring the phenomena of perception through a series of artistic interventions known as 'lenscapes.'
This new installation continues this exploration of perception and imposes three optical devices on an iceberg lagoon. After experimenting on numerous placements and environments, the artist chose this specific iceberg lagoon to produce an incredible optical illusion.
These mobile devices feature geometric shapes that produce a kaleidoscope-like image on top of the icebergs. The landscape reflects off of the optical device in a magical way that produces a breathtaking visual. Vincent Leroy's artistic genius shines through in this new installation.
