Though not a tropical oasis, the Urban Beach concept by O+A architectural firm hopes to add more waterfront appeal to the city of Amsterdam. When one thinks of beach life, one's mind rarely ventures to the Netherlands as the first place. Being at the northern tip of Europe, one does not equate the country with fun in the sun, and that is the exact perception that the people at O+A architectural firm are trying to change.
