Burger King is Serving a Stranger Things-Themed Upside Down Whopper
Laura McQuarrie — June 13, 2019 — Lifestyle
Just days before the official release of the newest season of Netflix's Stranger Things, Burger King will be introducing the Upside Down Whopper for a limited time. Stacked with ingredients, the Whopper provides a flavor experience that's familiar yet the fast food chain's signature burger is served upside down in a way that references the alternate dimension of the series.
As of June 21st, only 11 Burger King locations across the United States will be serving the special Upside Down Whoppers in partnership with Coca-Cola and Netflix. These locations include San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York, which will also be equipped with limited-edition t-shirts, crowns, pins and even special packets of ketchup. These single-serve ketchup packets are decorated with a graphic that also alludes to imagery from the show.
