Starbucks and Twitter have teamed up to launch Tweet-a-Coffee, a new way to send coffee via social media. The service lets you send coffee using nothing but your Twitter account, a Starbucks account and a credit card. Once you link your Starbucks account with your Twitter and credit card, you can begin sending coffee using only tweets.
To send coffee, all you need to do is tweet @tweetacoffee and your friend's handle. Your friend will be given $5 to use at Starbucks and you'll gain brownie points as a caffeine savior. Tweet-a-Coffee is certainly one of the most unique ways to send a gift and is in line with other social media services (Facebook, for example) that have recently begun making it easier to give gifts.
