G280's 'Toniture' Doubles as Both Toys and Furniture for Kids
Laura McQuarrie — October 16, 2017 — Life-Stages
While there are many kid-friendly furniture pieces and plenty of construction toys for kids that exist separately from one another, G280 introduced a collection of toys and furniture called 'Toniture' that lets kids play and assemble their own creative furniture pieces.
The kid-friendly furniture pieces take inspiration from Meccano construction sets, as they take the form of modular pieces that can be assembled to arrange everything from desks and chairs to shelving units. It is also possible for the designs created to be configured in units that stack or join easily with one another. Rather than requiring tools for assembly, Toniture comes together with a simple system of nuts and bolts.
Beyond encouraging creation and play, Toniture also challenges kids to develop a deeper understanding of spatial concepts.
