Tom Lenk Recreated Red Carpet Looks with Hilarious Low Cost Alternatives

Tom Lenk is an American actor who is most known for his roles in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' and 'Angel.'

Recently, the actor has taken to Instagram to document his low cost versions of red carpet looks. His account bio reads "Less is always more, with #LenkLewkForLess" -- the hashtag he includes with his hilarious parody outfits. Although all the post are comedic, some of Tom Lenk's looks are strangely accurate, even when draped over his masculine frame.

Recreating Mariah Carey's lost heel experience, Tom Lenk writes, "We nearly lost Mariah this week when her Louboutin went DOWN. Why pay full price for those red bottoms? A LEWKBOUTIN by #LenkLewkForLess gets the JOB DONE." The image accompanying shows Tom Lenk in his cost effective version of fishnet stockings -- drawn straight on to his leg with a marker. His #LenkLewkForLess version of Louboutin's is to tape some colored paper onto the bottom of the shoes and he achieves the dress pattern by covering what looks to be an ill-fitting black shirt with bits of gold foil.
