Tinder Passport is a feature for swiping matches from around the world that's typically only available to Tinder Gold or Tinder Plus members but in response to COVID-19, Tinder is opening up the feature, for free, to all users for a limited time. As people around the world are practicing social distancing, this time of isolation doesn't have to be one that leaves people feeling emotionally isolated. Knowing that people are missing spontaneous interactions with others in public, Tinder is helping people feel less alone all over the world.
Until April 30th, Tinder is giving all users the ability to search by city or drop a pin on the map to start swiping from that location. Tinder hopes that this feature helps to virtually transport users out of self-quarantine.
