Threat: Objects for Defense and Protection is an art exhibit that is comprised of baseball bats that have been artistically weaponized. Since this sports equipment is often depicted as a person's weapon of choice when there is a potential home invasion, it is only natural that it would be at the center of this particular art show.
Curated by American Design Club (A, the Threat: Objects for Defense and Protection art exhibit is comprised of 10 different pieces designed by 10 artists including Jonah Takagi, Fort Standard, Paul Loebach, David Weeks, Matthew Bradshaw, Joe Doucet and Harry Allen. Currently on display at Brooklyn's Present Company, the stunning and nightmarish pieces were crafted using a raw wood XBat baseball bat as a template.
