LEGO released a new The Lord of the Rings LEGO set that features Middle-Earth's iconic elfen land, Rivendell. Rivendell was first shown in the first movie of the trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. The LEGO set comes at the 10th anniversary of the release of the movie franchise's third film in its trilogy, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The trilogy was based on J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings novels.
The LEGO set contains three build sections constructed with 6,167 LEGO pieces. The first section includes The Council Ring with Frodo's bedroom and Elrond's study. The second section is an elven tower and five statues of unnamed elven warriors. The third section has a gazebo, river, and bridge. The LEGO set comprises 15 Lego minifigures such as Gandalf the Grey, Frodo Baggins, Samwise Gamgee, Merry Brandybuck, Pippin Took, Legolas, Gimli, Boromir, Bilbo Baggins, Aragorn, and more. Additionally, the LEGO set includes Bilbo's sword, the broken shards of Narsil, Aragorn's ranger sword, Boromir's sword, and more. The LEGO set is available for $500.
