2024 will be the Year of the Dragon and in anticipation of a year that symbolizes power, strength and good fortune, Maison Courvoisier collaborated with Chinese artist Jiannan Huang to create The Dragon Collection. This three-part bottle series was created in celebration of the Lunar New Year and it's comprised of the Courvoisier Year of the Dragon Blend, L’Essence and XO—and the first expression is limited to just eight bottles and exclusive to China.
The Year of the Dragon Blend unites four different crus: Fins Bois, Borderies, Petite Champagne, and Grande Champagne, and it is said to have spicy, floral notes specifically to suit the Chinese palate.
Interestingly, Huang was born in the Year of the Dragon and this unique partnership allowed the artist to explore enamel techniques and traditional Chinese art.
