The brand 'Rhoeco' created conceptual tea blends that come in packaging that is reminiscent of a potted plant, and actually has the same function.
There are five tea blends in the collection, each of which contain a variety of herbs and dried fruit and that follow a specific theme. These themes include Sea, Forest, Agros, Mountain and Urban – with each individual blend being accompanied by a minimalist symbol. The teas are contained in simple packaging that looks like plant pots. When the teas are finished, owners of this product can create plants out of the packages with the seeds that are attached to the inside of their lids.
The Rhoeco tea blends provide inspiration for similar brands to incorporate upcycling into their packaging designs and business models.
