Vancouver-based cannabis brand Tantalus Labs’ celebrated its recent partnership with OCS this past November inside Toronto venue The Costume House. The “Notes from the West Coast" launch party was hosted in the heart of the city's Geary Avenue neighborhood, a budding arts district that is home to independent music venues, recording studios and artist workhshops.
The event was described as "an immersive and educational evening from the purveyors of elite BC Cannabis" and featured a guest list of local media, influencers and tastemakers. In addition to a bar and a greenhouse-inspired merchandise tent where visitors could sample free products, the event featured live performances from New York-based DJ and producer Galcher Lustwerk, Toronto-based DJ Jaime Sin and Vancouver-based artist Galen Allan.
“We are delighted to bring our B.C. grown cannabis to Eastern Canada and share our passion for the plant with Ontario residents,” said Dan Sutton, CEO of Tantalus Labs about Tantalus Labs' recent partnership with OCS. By bringing together Toronto insiders at a warehouse-inspired setting, the brand successfully recreated the feel of underground music events while giving attendees a first-hand look at its soon-to-launch cannabis products.
