As a men's fashion and lifestyle brand based out of Cairo, it seems natural for Don & Brook's t-shirt tube packaging system to made use of modern icons that take inspiration from hieroglyphs. The minimalist packaging takes cues from three main components: the construction of the clothing, the great pyramids of Giza and the rippling water of the Nile. Rather than looking ancient, the graphic labels offer a clean and crisp contrast t the plain corrugated boxes.
The strong black and white lines and patterns from this branding are carried through to hanging and stitched-in clothing tags on garments, bringing a cohesion to Don & Brook's garments inside and out. Although it is subtle, the shaping of tubes and boxes can be arranged to form a larger pyramid shape, which ties in nicely with the clothing brand's Egyptian roots.
