Sharkbanz and Modom Surf recently teamed up to create an innovative new surfing leash that has the potential to drastically improve the safety of surfers in the water.
The 'Shark Leash' is no different from existing surfing leash designs, except that it makes use of a patented magnetic technology from Sharkbanz in order to generate electromagnetic fields that essentially block a shark's electrical sense, which causes them to flee.
