Each pendent lamp in the Stream Light Collection looks like it was made out of luminous rope. That, or they were somehow materialized out of light drawings captured by photographers and graffiti artists. Forming unique shapes such as glowing lassos and giant teardrops, these light fixture are stunning to look at. Their sculptural aesthetic is more art than anything else.
The Stream Light Collection was created by designer Miguel Flores Soeiro in collaboration with Portuguese brand OWN. Recently exhibited at the Light+Building in Frankfurt, Germany, the dramatic lamps were certainly the talk of the show. Although crafted out of traditional neon lights, the Stream Light Collection is anything but traditional. Instead, the lamps are an original take on this illuminating material that is often drab and dated.
