After Totino's saw BuzzFeed's list of 50 Completely Unexplainable Stock Photos No One Will Ever Use (published in May 2014), the pizza brand felt compelled to prove the media outlet wrong by creating their own absurd stock photo ads. Totino's Living felt "we obviously had no choice but to use them. Poorly."
Using the unusual pictures, Totino's created 50 equally silly stock photo ads in a series called BuzzFeed's 50 Unusuable Stock Photos: Used! Pizza slices are photoshopped into the existing images in wacky ways. For example, an underwater nun looking adoringly at a fish becomes her gazing with loving eyes upon a pizza slice with a tail. An astronaut and costumed pony can also be seen riding into outerspace on a pizza slice-shaped rocket.
