Roblox's Specsavers Obby Lets Players Interact with Branded Virtual Items

The Specsavers Obby is a new virtual obstacle course on Roblox from the affordable eye care and eyewear retailer, and this metaverse invites younger players into its world. This virtual obstacle course was created in collaboration with game development studio Dubit and social media agency Tangerine and it gives players a place to interact with branded virtual items from Specsavers. 10 limited-edition Specsavers-themed items are ready to be collected, including glasses, hearing aids and a Snellen Chart sandwich board.

This Roblox Obby is Specsavers' first foray into the gaming world and it helps to make young gamers aware of issues like digital eye strain and myopia, which have been increasing in recent years. The Obby features eye- and ear-themed courses and an auditory maze to encourage gamers to "to look after their most valuable pieces of gaming equipment—their eyes and ears.”
