With NASA's final space shuttle mission come and gone, marking the end of an era of deep space exploration, the Space Race Museum has been proposed. Considering that there is probably a ton of unique perspective and hard-nosed facts about the race to outer space between Soviet Union and United States of America, it is definitely a historical and cultural hub that will shed a lot of light on this 30-year-old project.
Conceived by Islam Fikry Abbas, who is based in Egypt, the Space Race Museum looks like a futuristic spaceship itself. He hopes to portray the political and technological conditions that existed during the Cold War era through in the form of spatial demarcation and architectural structures. An eco-friendly structure, the Space Race Museum would definitely attract a lot of curious visitors.
