American Licorice Company Debuted New Better-For-You Snacks

American Licorice Company, the food manufacturer behind the 'Sour Punch' and 'Red Vines' brands, has unveiled a new better-for-you product line including the 'Sour Punch Fan Favorites' and more. The Sour Bites Fan Favorites are sold in 9-oz bags of low-fat, low-sodium gummy bites. On top of this, these treats are both Kosher and Halal certified. The package includes apple, blue raspberry, and strawberry flavors.

The other products released as part of the better-for-you line are the 'Torie & Howard Gummi-Snaps' and the 'Red Vines Made Simple.' The Made Simple offering is the iconic licorice stick with a blueberry pomegranate flavor, made without the use of high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, or GMOs. The Gummi-Snaps are available in lemon-watermelon, pineapple-watermelon, and tangerine-lime flavors, and are enjoyable by individuals with nearly any diet restriction as they are free from dairy, animal products, gluten, soy, gelatin, and artificial flavors.

In addition to these better-for-you offerings, the brand has also released a limited edition packaging for its 'Red Vines Original Red Licorice.' This packaging is inspired by summertime Americana.
