Consumers looking to cool off in the summer heat rejoiced in 7-Eleven's Slurpee day, which ran on July 11th from 11am until 7pm.
Throughout the day, consumers had the opportunity to get a free small Slurpee of their choosing, with classic flavors like Wild Cherry and Blue Raspberry offered, in addition to new ones, like the Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries Slurpee. With the new cereal-inspired flavor being rather unconventional, 7-Eleven's Slurpee day functions as the perfect opportunity for consumers to test out the new offering.
In addition to its Slurpee day, it's reported that the convenience store also has $1 hot dogs available as well, as a part of its "dog days" summer promotion.
