Signals is the new solo exhibition by Barbey Osgerby for Galerie Kreo. The show marks a monumental moment for both parties who have been in partnership since 2016. The exhibition features lamps of various shapes and sizes, including floor lamps, wall lamps, and pendant lamps.
The collection takes inspiration from the cone, a recurring motif throughout Barber Osgerby's general work. While it touches on the artist's typical style, the exhibition also draws on the studio's preferred hybrid of engineered crat. Each lamp in the series includes various dualities. Some featured dualities include two materials, two geometries, and two contrasting fabrication methods. In addition, the glass portions of the lamps are hand-crafted in the Venini workshops of Murano.
