Chariot is Launching Its First-Ever Crowdsourced Route in NYC

Shuttle services play an important part in getting people from point A to point B, and Chariot (owned by Ford) is looking to make the experience of getting around a little more flexible.
For those in the city who do not currently have access to a Chariot line, a crowdsourced one may be created online. After a new route has been proposed by a person, it must be supported by a group of people to prove that it will be of use to other passengers in the area. With routes that are successfully crowdfunded with Chariot, the founders of the route are eligible for a week of free service.
Currently, Chariot operates in a variety of major cities across the United States, helping people get around in Ford Transit Wagons. The first crowdsourced route is set to begin operating in New York City soon from Williamsburg, Brooklyn to Midtown, Manhattan.
