Shigeru Ban Designs a New Range of Housing Along Nieuw Zuid

Japanese architect Shigeru Ban studio designs a set of housing blocks made from wooden design located in Belgium entitled Ban. It is made for people to go and unwind and is set to be finished by 2025. The Ban block will feature a low-rise, six-story block along with a 25-story rower that contains a total of 295 residential units.
Ban talks about the newest design in the works, stating "I wanted to create a place where people can unwind, a green environment is relaxing. In Japan, we have a term for that: shinrin-yoku. Relax by immersing yourself in greenery." This will be featured along with a series of other buildings done by leading architects in the same neighborhood.
