Condiment company Sir Kensington’s recently launched its first set of spices for consumers, which come in the form of a kit that pairs two Sir Kensington's Classic Mayo packets with three individually packed, single-origin spices from Turkey.
The first globally inspired spice kit from the brand—formally called the Edition No.1: The Turkish Tabletop Spice Kit—contains Cured Sumac, Black Urfa Chili and Silk Chili, as well as some suggested recipes for enjoying the unique spices. While Black Urfa Chili is said to have complex flavors like hints of chocolate and raisin, Cured Sumac is said to have "a balanced salty and sour flavor."
A variety of Sir Kensington's clean-label condiments can be found in retail stores but with this new venture, the brand is testing a direct-to-consumer model that shares the spice kits via a dedicated microsite.
