Maui Brewing Company, which holds the title of being the largest craft brewery in Hawaii, has launched a delicious new session IPA that is designed to serve as the ideal brew for warm-weather enjoyment whether it's at the beach, the BBQ or the comfort of your couch.
The 'Pacific Lite Session IPA' is a beer that comes in at 4.2 percent ABV and features a richly hopped character thanks to a combination of Nelson Sauvin, Loral, Citra Cryo and Cryo Pop hop varieties. The end result is a brew that boasts a tempting gold hue and offers aromas tinged with mango, grapefruit and passion fruit. As far as flavor is concerned, this session IPA is hoppy but crisp and comes in at 40 IBUs (International Bitterness Units).
"Combining New Zealand’s iconic fruit-forward Nelson Sauvin hops with West Coast favorites Citra and Loral, we’ve brewed the perfect session IPA for hot days and warm nights," confirmed Travis Swafford, director of quality at Maui Brewing Company.
