Sean Hartter has already proven himself to be a capable graphic artist with his film poster series that recasts movies like ‘Kill Bill’ and ‘Ghostbusters’ with legendary actors, so when Hero Complex wanted to write an article about possible directions the Batman franchise can go post-Christopher Nolan, Hartter was naturally the guy to call. Along with lead writer Geoff Boucher, the pair imagined a collection of hypothetical film posters for the Dark Knight, complete with brand new casting and directorial options.
Among the many Batman films that Geoff Boucher and Sean Hartter suggest are a Zach Snyder directed movie starring Gerard Butler, a Twilight-themed Batman starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and even a rehash of Tim Burton’s old ’89 Batman. Though some of these creations would be disastrous, they’d be fascinating to watch nonetheless.
