Saul Nash Explores Rich Culture for the FW22 Season
Saul Nash explores British Afro-Caribbean culture as inspiration for its latest seasonal collection made for the Fall/Winter 2022 season. The London-based designer entitles the capsule RITUAL and he explores the folklore and spirituality that brings communities together with a short film to capture the essence by FX Goby.
Nash talks to HYPEBEAST about the collection, stating that “The collection draws a lot of inspiration from my upbringing [...] Growing up in London in an Afro-Caribbean household, spirituality was part of the language of my life and in a way, this collection reflects on some of these experiences. We set the film in a barber shop, which for people of color is a great equalizer; a true common ground. I’m interested in ties that bind people together.”
