Dinara Kasko is a Ukrainian pastry chef who leveraged the power of algorithms and technology for the the creation of this Ruby chocolate cake.
The sculptural cake design made in Grasshopper boasts more than 80 individual cake pieces, each of which is entirely unique. As a whole, each of the slanting cake pieces comes together to form a design that appears to be in motion. On the inside, the cake features a decadent combination of berry confit, mousse, chocolate meringue and ganache that is just as aesthetically pleasing when sliced.
Aside from its stunning form, Dinara Kasko's cake is also noteworthy because it makes use of Ruby chocolate, a new variety that was just introduced this year and the first new type of chocolate to be unveiled since the 1930s.
