England-based graphic designer Rowan Stocks Moore has created a series of clever Disney posters. Many of the designs use optical illusions so that multiple images are shown and some are hidden.
The posters were made with an minimalist eye which allows for the optical illusions to pop out. In the ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ poster, one sees the image of an apple core; however, upon further inspection one can make out the faces of Snow White and the Prince. Moore’s ‘Peter Pan’ poster makes use of contrast by splitting the design down the middle. One half features Neverland and the ticking clock inside the crocodile while the other half displays Big Ben with a crescent moon behind it. Moore’s simple designs paint Disney in a different light.
