Rooibos tea is made from the aspalathus linearis bush plant in South Africa and is normally served warm, but 'Wicked Lekker' takes a different route and serves it iced.
Rooibos tea is not only known for its flavor, but for the many health benefits it is able to offer. When consumed regularly, it is able to treat and relieve health issues that include headaches, insomnia, asthma, eczema, allergies and premature aging. Wicked Lekker chose to provide the tea in a more portable format for consumers and offers a range of flavors including a black currant, a meyer lemon and a white peach. The illustrations on the bottles are inspired by South Africa, with an abstract interpretation of the sunset and a leaping antelope being featured in the center.
This tea is able to capture the region from which its contents are from while providing consumers with a flavorful alternative option to drink the traditional tea.
