To save people in the UK from having to travel alone on Valentine's Day, Virgin Trains is setting up a romantic train event. The first 24 people to purchase a single ticket to the Love Carriage will be given entry to a train that sets the mood with red roses, atmospheric music and bubbly drinks. In this special carriage, people will have the chance to swap seats with other passengers as part of a twist on traditional speed dating.
Train passengers will also be greeted by their host Fred Sirieix, who is known from the TV show First Dates. In addition to playing matchmaker onboard the train, Sirieix will also be giving Virgin Train staff a special class on the art of service, in order to best serve passengers during this experience.
