Non-profit organization Reporters Without Borders has released a new interactive magazine campaign with advertising agency Publicis. Reporters face many dangers when attempting to uncover the truth behind news around the world and this campaign aims to help get their stories heard.
The interactive magazine ad uses QR codes in participation with an iPhone or similar smarthphone to voice the print advertisement. The campaign features controversial world leaders such as Gaddafi, Ahmadinejad and Putin. When the app is activated, a pair of lips overtakes where the dictators lips one were. However, the dictator isn't speaking -- a reporter is.
The Reporters Without Borders magazine ads inform readers on what is really happening around the world and how reporters are risking their lives to tell you.
