'Ratchut School' is Design According to the Montessori Ideology

The Montessori Method of education requires that children feel inherently comfortable in their learning environment, and the Ratchut School in Thailand is design according to those tenets. The school, which was created by 'Design in Motion', is meant to resemble a home rather than a typical schoolhouse, and it does so by splitting the space into rooms that more closely approximate a living space.
Because Montessori schools allow children to self-select the areas that they want to investigate, the various rooms and spaces in Ratchut School are dedicated to different sections of the loosely prescribed Montessori curriculum, and students are encouraged to venture into these areas freely (under the supervision of their teachers, of course).
