The conceptual 'Rainbow Tree' building has been designed by Paris-based Vincent Callebaut Architectures for Cebu, Philippines as a sustainable residential tower that highlights lush greenery.
The building is constructed with solid wood that is held together with tannins, cellulose, lignin or starch to put an even stronger attention on an eco-friendly design. Standing 115-meters in height and featuring 32-stories, the tower is LEED + BERDE certified and is built with eucalyptus wood that is actually better at resisting the effects of fire and won't emit toxic fumes.
