Productora Combats Mexico Heat With Half-Buried House Design

This beautiful piece of architecture was designed by the geniuses at Productora Architecture. It sticks up slightly above the hills in Chihuahua, Mexico, right in the heart of golf city.
The design of the house is very interesting. Due to the natural heat in Mexico, different cooling methods are usually vitally important for a residence. For this house, the designers at Productora decided to stick to whites (doesn’t react to the heat) for the entire house, but more importantly, they decided to dig underground and put the home in there.
The cool soil up against the sides of the house blocks the heat from taking over. I’m definitely getting a half house for protection from the sun!
