A plastic surgery clinic is opening in South Korea's Incheon International Airport, inviting passengers to undergo a cosmetic operation before or after their travels.
The idea to implement the clinic was a result of the increasing profits from South Korea's cosmetic surgery industry. The airport's central and heavily trafficked location made it an ideal candidate for the clinic, however many doctors have since expressed concerns regarding the safety of post-surgery flight passengers. To appease the medical board, the clinic set up a strict guideline of who can receive treatment and how long one must wait after surgery until it's safe to fly.
The clinic is set to open at the Incheon International airport in January 2018.
