Nestlé Added Sausage Products to Its Selection of Plant-Based Meats

Nestlé announced that it added a new item to its selection of plant-based meats. The new plant-based sausage product will be available to consumers in the United States and Europe. Nestlé also stated that meat-free sausage will cook and taste in the ways consumers are used to. Additionally, a restaurant version of the Nestlé's plant-based meats will be available.
The plant-based sausage product in the United States will be comprised of pea protein, and it will be available in three flavors including Habanero Cheddar, Asian Ginger Scallion, as well as Chik'nApple. The European version of the product will be created using soy protein. The plant-based sausages will be available to consumers in the United States and European beginning in April.
