Alongside its range of solid plant-based block cheese products, Miyoko's Kitchen is now launching its 'Homestyle Plain Vegan Cream Cheese' as a spreadable, Philadelphia-style cheese. The product is made with organic cashews and coconut cream that has been naturally fermented to achieve a rich flavor.
In the same way that traditional cream cheese may be used for both sweet and savory applications, the Homestyle Plain Vegan Cream Cheese can be spread over bagels or incorporated into sweet baked goods and frosting. As a vegan product, the cheese-style spread is free of egg and lactose, as well as gluten, soy, cholesterol and GMO ingredients.
Currently, the new cream cheese is available online in a beta version, but Miyoko's Kitchen has plans to launch the products in stores next year, along with all-new packaging.
